Day By Day

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its enormous elephant population, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife.

After entering the park, begin your first game drive. Keep your camera ready for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes and numerous bird species. With some luck, you may also encounter predators such as leopards.

Enjoy a picnic lunch or lodge lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Cultural Experience – Karatu

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire before continuing toward the Karatu area.

In the afternoon, visit a local community for an immersive Tanzania cultural experience. Depending on the selected community and activities, you may learn about traditional homes, local food, farming, crafts, music and everyday life.

Spend time interacting with local residents and gaining insight into Tanzania’s rich cultural heritage.

Later, continue to your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park.

Travel through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the Serengeti. As you approach the park, the landscape opens into vast grass-covered plains filled with wildlife.

Enjoy an en-route game drive toward your accommodation, searching for wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and other wildlife.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the evening, followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti.

Set out early for a full-day game drive across the plains. The Serengeti is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations and offers excellent opportunities to see predators and large herds of herbivores.

Search for lions, cheetahs and elusive leopards while watching elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and wildebeests moving across the landscape.

Depending on the season, you may also encounter parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing your wildlife adventure. Return to camp in the evening.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti before breakfast.

Afterward, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an en-route game drive as you leave the Serengeti.

The route offers beautiful scenery and additional wildlife opportunities. Arrive at your accommodation near the Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon.

Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive.

The crater is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and hyenas. You may also have the opportunity to see the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and beginning your journey back to Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your 6-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari & Cultural Tour.
