Day By Day
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a short safari briefing, drive toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife.
Upon arrival, begin your game drive through the park. Follow the Tarangire River and surrounding wildlife areas, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, lions and numerous bird species. Tarangire is particularly renowned for its elephant population and striking baobab landscapes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the day cools, wildlife becomes increasingly active and the afternoon light creates excellent photography conditions.
Later, exit the park and proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the vast Serengeti plains.
As you approach the Serengeti, the landscape dramatically changes into seemingly endless grasslands—the setting for one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife experiences.
Enjoy a picnic lunch en route before entering the Serengeti. Continue with an afternoon game drive as you search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, cheetahs and leopards.
Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the evening for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti National Park
Wake up early for an unforgettable morning game drive when wildlife is most active.
Explore the Seronera region and surrounding plains, looking for predators and large herbivore herds. Depending on the season and location, you may encounter prides of lions, cheetahs hunting on the open plains, leopards resting in trees and large herds of wildebeest and zebra.
The Serengeti is also one of the principal landscapes associated with the Great Migration, although the location of the herds varies throughout the year.
Return to your lodge for breakfast and some time to relax before continuing your safari after lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring different areas of the Serengeti, maximizing your chances of discovering new wildlife.
Enjoy a spectacular Serengeti sunset before returning to camp for dinner.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Rise early and enjoy breakfast before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend into the crater floor for an exciting game drive. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife, making it one of the highlights of a Northern Tanzania safari.
Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending the crater walls and beginning your journey back to Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your 4-Day Amazing Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari. A similar four-day routing is widely used for combining these three destinations efficiently.
